Hip Hop Dance Company

The Hip Hop Dance Company performs a unique stylization of this high-energy and acrobatic urban dance form, that includes elements and influence from Latin, African, Jazz, Modern, and many other styles of dance. Appearances have included the Apollo Theatre in New York City, the Strand Theatre in Boston, KISS Concert 20 at the Tweeter Center.

Members of the JAM'NASTICS Dance Companies train intensively in gymnastics and a wide variety of dance styles for performances at community and professional events. Based in Cambridge, MA, these unique companies have changed the meaning of the instruction and performance of dance and gymnastics.

Although they are professional performers, they continue to concentrate on community involvement and youth development. Members of the company work as instructors and coaches with youth striving to bring to others the enjoyment, confidence, and successes that have come from their own hard work as dancers and gymnasts. Many members of the professional companies were once members of the JAM'NASTICS Children's Performance Program.
